Rosaviatsiya announced in its Telegram channel that it allowed a company from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to repair aircraft of Russian air carriers. As part of the National Civil Aviation Infrastructure Exhibition NAIS-2023, Rosaviatsia awarded the maintenance company Global Jet Technic a certificate of conformity. The document confirms the compliance of the organization's activities with the requirements of the Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) and gives the right to carry out maintenance of Boeing 737, Airbus 318/319/320/321 and Airbus 330 aircraft of Russian airlines.
Global Jet Technic is a UAE-based company that, as listed on its website, is one of the leading independent aircraft maintenance solution providers in the Gulf. It already has certificates of conformity issued in different countries: in addition to the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, India, Pakistan and others. These certificates give the right to service most models of Boeing and Airbus aircraft, the company notes.
